Pets can be masters at hiding illness and early detection is vital for your pet’s health and wellbeing. Analysing your pet’s blood can tell us important information about their organ function and disease status. We have a multitude of tests in house that we can run which give us rapid results and these include:

• Biochemistry testing to detect disease relating to the kidneys, liver, pancreas, intestines and thyroid.

• Blood Glucose levels and urinalysis to detect diabetes.

• PCV which measures the percentage of the red blood cells to the percentage of total red blood volumes in the body and in doing so enables us to determine if your pet is anaemic and to what extent.

• Other additional in house testing we offer includes snap tests to detect Feline Aids and Feline Leukaemia virus, Parvo virus, Giardia, Lungworm and pancreatitis.
